Traditional 22nd Istrijada held in Vodice

This year's gathering of Istrian clubs students from Zagreb and Rijeka was held in ZEC Speleo house, called "Istrijada 2016".

The gathering took place for the 22nd time, in the period from 28th to 29th May 2016, in Vodice.

Students toured Speleo house and presentation space "Museum of karst", followed by the official opening of Istrijada.
During their stay in Vodice students visited educational path of medicinal plants, under the expert guidance of a ranger of Public Institution "Natura Histrica"  on which they had the opportunity to see medicinal plants of the region.
Students browsed the nature of Cicarija visiting the path "From spring to spring," and so visited the surrounding villages Dane, Trstenik, Rašpor, Račja vas, Lanišće, Podgaće, Klenovšćak and Brest.
In conversation with the locals, they collected valuable information about the past of this region and made interesting acquaintance with the local population, among which they found former organizers of the now traditional Istrijada.
